ECG-elettrocardiogramma
E' un esame con cui si valutano le variazioni elettriche che si verificano durante l’attività cardiaca. Serve per vedere se il cuore è sofferente e se il ritmo cardiaco è regolare oppure no. Le informazioni che fornisce, infatti, permettono di identificare:
- i disturbi del ritmo;
- della propagazione dell’impulso elettrico;
- lo stato del muscolo cardiaco.
L’esame dura pochi minuti e si effettua con l’applicazione degli elettrodi per la raccolta dei dati che vengono successivamente inviati alla clinica per l’elaborazione del referto da parte del cardiologo. I risultati vengono inviati immediatamente nell’arco si 15-20 minuti dall’invio dei dati.
