Colorectal cancer - symptoms and how to test

Cancer of the colon is a common term for this disease. The colon, also known as the large intestine or gut, is the body's final digestive organ. It is the rectum that provides access from the colon to the urethra. In colorectal cancer, cells in the colon or rectum grow uncontrollably. Colorectal cancer incidence rises with age.
